Facebook Live viewer prices cannot be compared sensibly without duration. A quote for 100 viewers over 15 minutes is a different specification from 100 viewers over an hour, even though the headline audience number is the same.
The second question is what “viewers” means in the selected package: concurrent attendance, cumulative visits, or another defined measure. These differences should be settled before you compare rates.
Write the event specification
Record the intended live destination, event date, time zone, planned duration and supported audience measure. Note whether the event is a Page broadcast, another supported live object or a replay.
Penmowu's Facebook live entries include duration-based distinctions. The selected item's timing and target requirements matter; a generic Facebook viewing rate is not an adequate substitute. Penmowu public service catalog
Do not assume a normal video-view order provides people present during a live event. Ask about compatibility before scheduling anything around it.
Use viewer-minutes only as a planning unit
For a hypothetical constant audience of 100 concurrent viewers over 30 minutes, the nominal exposure is 3,000 viewer-minutes. An audience of 50 over 60 minutes also produces 3,000 viewer-minutes.
Those specifications are still not equivalent. The peak audience, timing and event experience differ. Viewer-minutes also do not reveal the number of distinct people because attendees can join and leave.
The calculation is useful for checking a quote's scope, not for claiming a verified audience or predicting sales.
Compare the coverage window
Ask whether the stated duration begins when the broadcast starts, when processing starts or when the requested audience is first reached. A ramp-up period can change the portion of the event covered.
Also ask what happens if you start late, the event ends early or the stream disconnects. These are practical event-management questions, not evidence that a provider can guarantee uninterrupted attendance.
Keep the time zone explicit. For international teams, store the event time in UTC alongside the local display to reduce scheduling confusion.
A fictional budget decision
Imagine a business running a 45-minute demonstration. Quote A covers 100 concurrent viewers for 15 minutes at $6. Quote B covers 80 for 45 minutes at $12. The cheaper price does not cover the same event window.
Your choice depends on the defined deliverable and its relevance, not simply the cost divided by the headline number. Do not extrapolate either offer beyond its stated coverage or assume you can combine entries unless the provider confirms that arrangement.
The figures here are examples only, not merchant quotations.
Report the live event and the replay separately
After the event, keep live attendance observations separate from replay viewing. A replay accumulating views later does not prove that people were present for a time-sensitive announcement or question session.
Record useful audience questions, website visits and inquiries independently. An externally arranged attendance quantity should not be presented as spontaneous customer demand.
A genuine event review should also examine audio, demonstration clarity and the follow-up offer. Those are operational factors that an audience-count package cannot fix.
Before booking a live service
Review Facebook live service descriptions on Penmowu with your event specification ready. Confirm the audience measure, duration start point and rules for delays or interruptions.
A useful quote describes an audience condition over a time window on a supported event. Without all three, a low price can conceal a completely different service from the one your live plan requires.
