LinkedIn Case Studies: Show the Work Without Inventing a Success Story

Disclosure: FansFlux and Penmowu are operated by the same owner. This article includes commercial references where relevant. Public service descriptions are not a hands-on performance test.

A case study becomes credible when the reader can distinguish the starting problem, the work performed and the outcome actually observed. A polished paragraph full of percentages is not a substitute for evidence.

Use real, approved project information. When confidentiality prevents identifying a client, explain the limitation and do not make the account sound independently verified if it is not.

Build the evidence chain

Start with the business problem and relevant constraints. Describe your contribution precisely. Then report the outcome using the metric, timeframe and source that support it. Separate work completed from business improvement.

For a hypothetical example, “We migrated 800 approved records and trained four staff members” describes deliverables. “Sales increased because of the migration” would require additional evidence. The second claim should not be inferred from the first.

Include what did not happen

Explain an unresolved limitation, a dependency or a tradeoff. Perhaps a system rollout finished but the client has not yet measured long-term use. That is a useful boundary, not a reason to invent a result.

Review quotations and images for permission. Do not generate a customer's endorsement, identity or screenshot as though it were real. Use diagrams labelled as illustrations when they explain the process without representing evidence.

Adapt the study for LinkedIn

A post can summarize one lesson and direct readers to the complete approved account. Keep the Page's business information consistent with the service described. LinkedIn's official Page tools provide a place for company content; they do not validate the claims inside it. LinkedIn: Company Pages

The goal is to help a relevant buyer understand how you work. A modest, documented result is more useful than a spectacular story no one can verify.
